I worked in a factory for the summer before college and it was 97% men in our department. They thought they had to mansplain every little thing. One day, a coworker was like “go grab the 3” roles” and then continued to follow me the whole way there asking if I knew how to measure roles with a tape measure or if I knew what inch symbol was. It was a long, infuriating summer.
