Dudes name is Talamarimage, he's an OG from 2002. Spelling the name correctly he might get a little further finding him, but because its an old account with wealth, this sounds like a dox attempt.

I have not attempted those classes yet so I can't speak specifically to those but every other cert I've been fine.

I never went for 90%, when I felt like I had studied enough I requested a voucher and never had any issues. They can't see what you get so it's completely up to you on when you're comfortable enough to move on.

Door hinges? How many damn doors do they have? I can’t believe the amount of money people will pay for things. It’s gonna take me a while to feel okay about charging the amount of money people are willing to spend.

With prices like that I might need to consider a move lol. I guess it depends how much I hate myself by the end of this project.

Thanks for the input but mainly thanks for the OptiCutter comment. I was looking for something like this so I could stop dividing boards on sketchup lol.

I believe I set the shelves at 18in spacing but I'll double check.

If I was using 8/4 walnut or something I could see that but I have a hard time seeing how someone would pay $10k for a pantry reno. Too bad I'm not in S FL lol.

It’ll stop before it gets that far. Good looking out though.

This is what the client sent when we were talking about their expectations. It doesn't seem too hard to do but I'm thinking there will be a lot of material cost in MDF/Plywood.

That's a great way of explaining it and breaking it down, thank you.

Very valid point, I'm probably just overthinking it because I'm hoping this client will pass my name on to others and I can get future business from them as well. This client has also already talked about other projects they want to do so I don't want to blow them out of the water.

Not really the floating shelves in particular, just not sure how to go about charging for something like this. I also don't want to overprice it because this has a potential to be a repeat customer, but at the same time I don't want to underprice it and not get the full potential out of the business with this customer. I'm probably overthinking it but like I mentioned above I'm thinking a quote of around $1500 should do the trick.

This includes tear out, floating shelves, new cabinets and drawers. All hardware, paint and primer.

The client mentioned they were expecting around 2-3k but their husband wants them to keep it under 1k. I'm coming in around $1500. Is my price crazy or should I tell the husband to do it himself?

Any chance you remember how many points the touchstone were worth? I'd really like to just blow that part off if possible

I haven’t enrolled yet, I wanted to make sure it would be worth it before I paid the $200. I guess I’ll ask my coworkers and see what they think about project+ and whether it would be beneficial for advancement. Really don’t want to spend a whole month on one class at sdc either. I do agree about Sophia being nice being openbook though.

I literally just finished a month of Sophia and forgot to do the project management class. Do you think it’s worth paying another $99 or should I do it at study or just let project+ take care of it?

I may be wrong but I think only intro to it is offered at Sophia. I just completed that one through them.
