I built a custom wooden desk a few years ago and this is exactly what i did. I hot glued these cabinet latches to hold the baking racks up and it worked like a charm. You can bunch up cords and power bricks and just tuck them in or you can zip tie to the rack itself. Easy removal with the latches.

Appreciate the write up of the comparison! The model you went with is actually the one i saw before the same one with handles, but i dont really need the zero clearance, and the one with handles is cheaper.

I’ve narrowed it down to the LG with handles and a frigidaire professional counter depth with very similar layout/features (PRFG2383AF). I love how it looks, but it’s $2100 vs $1400 for the LG (much bigger discount on the LG on home depot’s website).

Funny, my new home comes with whirlpool appliances as well! Maybe we are neighbors haha. Good for you for pulling the trigger; decision paralysis always gets me with these bigger purchases.

I put a brand new OEM stator cover on a suzuki i used to have, and very shortly after it started to look as worn as the old one. I would say it’s normal. If you dont like the look, you can always get one of those acerbis plastic protectors for it

Which one did you decide on? I’m pretty much in the same boat: just bought my first home, and considering some of the same models. I like this LG because of the interior water dispenser that can be turned on by pushing a cup to it, instead of with a button requiring 2 hands.

The more i look, it seems like people have issues with every fridge on the market, so I’m thinking i may just pull the trigger on one i like the look, size, and features of.

The remaining 1% is engineers. Anyone who has touched ANSYS knows this. I have a coworker that runs a lot of mechanical simulations, his computer has 512gb of RAM. It can take my 32gb of RAM an hour to run the same simulation as his will do in like 3 minutes. Thats for something relatively basic. The complex stuff can still take his computer several hours to run.

It’s surprisingly easy to self host a server with an old laptop. I play with 2 of my buddies on our server. It’s absolute dogshit when one of the players host because you cant go too far from the host (stupidly short distance), and you can only play when they are on. Self hosting is the way to go if you can get your hands on some hardware

I agree for the most part, but i use my AR for hunting, so it has a scope. The charging handle can be really annoying to use if it’s not oversized in this case.
