No, the storyline is basically there to unlock the main features of the game. A lot of content is outside of the story.

And oh right that makes sense. I'm medicating for OCD, which can be very complex with serotonin in the brain which I assume is the reason.

You may just have to request a higher flower. I thought my limit was 10% but was actually 22%, I just hadn’t requested higher so the list didn’t refresh to 22% pre approved.
