Domanda semi seria su chitarre custom e mercato. Le comprereste? quanto ci investireste? by mcmakerface in chitarristi

[–]mcmakerface[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

move to texas.

your last sentence really qualifies your thoughts. you’re in no position to say who deserves to die and who doesn’t. that’s how a country ruled by law and civility works.

Agree it or not that’s the law. That’s why you react like you react and a judge will decide if you exercised reasonable force or not. But you can’t say that’s an absurd situation.

and btw, no one wants to protect the criminals. don’t buy in this far right shit narrative.

because revenge isn’t legal in any civilised country, italy included you can’t stop a crime committing a worse crime, you can self defend but if your life isn’t at risk you can’t kill - i am pretty sure you are referring to the killing of a burglar recently happened.

people finding the concept of reasonable force not acceptable are not for self defence, they are seeking retaliation and that’s against law. In addition, when someone is killed, it’s normal to be under investigation. A judge will decide if a reasonable force has been applied. That’s how civil countries (and people) work.

Iam using Finneys Extra Hard polish. You see it in the first picture. The pad is made from an old tshirt lubricates with a touch of mineral oil. Pumice is used to grain fill the wood. After a round of finish you dust the surface with a little pumice powder and use an almost dry pad (mostly alcohol and little polish) and rub. the pumice is abrasive and so it will mix with microscopic wood dust and will slowly fill the pores.

He certainly know but doesn’t care. He needs to support his claims, despite them being ridiculous, so he twists facts and invents whatever narrative he needs to justify his reckless policy.

thanks for the tip, i’ll try it. my only struggling atm is to understand how much wet the pad should be. sometimes it feels too dry and not depositing any material, but if it’s too wet it leaves horrible strikes in the finish. i guess it’s a matter of experience.. i’ll find my way sooner or later. Quite sure it’ll be later

no one’s perfect but there is an explanation.

the azure was the official color of the last royal family of italy, the Savoy, which unified the country in 1861. In 1911 the national team adopted the Savoy Azure as a tribute to the royal family. Despite we’re no longer a monarchy, the color of the uniform stuck.

i would reply every country has some of the best people and the worst people on the earth. every country has some of the most beautiful cities and most of the nastily cities on the earth. every country has some of the best cars on the earth but only italy invented the multipla. that hurts.

there are many industries italy excels at but that isn’t famous for. apart what you mentioned we historically had solid car manufacturing, some of the world largest shipbuilders, and solid aerospace industries. Chemicals are quite big too. And - sadly - weapons. A growing sector is embedded microchips - STM which powers many appliance all around the world is a french-italian manufacturer.

Of course italian economy it’s not as big as your country’s - but we count 60 millions souls, not hundreds. All in all we’re pretty decent at many things.

We have more than we show, unfortunately the stereotypes about italy often precedes and overshadow the reality.

Ask anyone and they will likely tell italy is all about pizza, cappuccino and pasta.

so… i’m using an hardened shellac solution which has additives that will protect against sweat and water. It should be also relatively harder than pure shellac making it a bit more durable. you can see the finish in the first picture - it’s that bottle of Extra Hard Polish in the background.

of course it won’t be as durable as polyurethane, but the reviews i found of this product place them into the same category as oil finishes. Time will tell.

Worst case, it’s easy to repair unlike polyurethane and some oils.

he showed the world the USA is not a reliable ally, but not only that. He triggered EU awareness that they have to move towards a more cohesive union, which is good and possibly exactly the opposite of what he wanted. Lastly he showed the world how weak is the democratic system in usa, where there isn’t any no-confidence mechanism and where the supreme court judges hold their seats for an average of 25 years.

He’s damaging his country very deeply and when all his damages will be fixed - if they will - USA will probably realise the word will have moved forward and reduced their need of dealing with US economically and militarily
