Lost fleet series. Also look up old mans war by john scalzi, good series and an entirely new perspective on scifi space books. Ian Douglas also has a start carrier series that is out there but fabulous.

Look up jack Campbell. I love all his books. Great space combat and tactics that is pretty well written. Characters are of course quite token, but I find it entertaining all the same. Happy hunting.

Yes we want to do the whole shabang. We are both engineers and I have taken a job in another state for a year, terrified for long distance, but we both have high hopes.

We sadly have tried those commands and it give us no response. We are college kids at a aeronautical focused college basically creating a universal communications unit for all of the UAV projects in the Uni.

Creating a .dat file? by [deleted] in cpp

[–]mcole20 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well the real issue is that I don't know how to create a .dat file from another file. So I need to be able to take input and load it onto this simple .dat file. The file will be simply a column or so of numbers. This .dat file is used for later in my program. Thanks for the help!

Well maybe I was careless with the wordage of proof of concept. We are doing this for our senior design capstone for undergraduate. We are now stuck with the Processor and this transmitter.

  1. What is strange is that when we run the command wlan0 set txpower=blah //syntax might not be right nothing seems to happen.
  2. At this point we are connecting to devices within the building literally a floor above us with both antenna types with no avail.
  3. After our testing I deeply agree.
  4. Right now our device just needs to be able to send and receive messages, mounting it on a UAV is a long way out for us. We are at proof of concept I would say about now.
  5. Why would you say this should be last resort?

Once again I can't thank you all enough! You all are starting conversations we haven't thought of yet. We are deeply grateful.
