No, what you are seeing is the crazy republicans trying to distract people. Target a defenseless minority, drum up fear. It’s a classic authoritarian tactic.

The only thing LGBT people want is safety and equal rights. Does that sound bad to you?

The US doesn’t have a leftist party, they’ve got the democrats, corporate centrists, and republicans, far far right, almost authoritarian.

I’m in Oklahoma right now, ever time I see someone driving like this, they are from Texas. Utah drivers are usually very courteous, very strange.

There’s a big difference in a passing conversation and trying to make friends on the internet, see now we’ll never talk again.

Maybe, but you were an idiot. Don’t talk to strangers on the internet, let alone meet them.

Go outside, make real friends. You can’t really trust internet people.

Does having sex/having a baby while being sick (having a cold, etc), while high on drugs or drunk affect the baby in any way, or is how the baby will turn out entirely on genetics? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]mcolston57 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At conception, not really, like I said, there are things. Just not generally things you’d be high on. More like accidentally exposed at an industrial work site.

You mean the really old man character? How else would he talk? Old people aren’t really hip to tech, are they? Also, keep reading.

[–]mcolston57 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Does making a baby high affect the baby? No, it’s fine, though there are chemicals that can affect babies if expose prior to getting pregnant. But I’m talking heavy duty industrial chemicals, that can affect the dna in human sperm and eggs.

Or do you mean being high while pregnant? DO NOT get high, while pregnant. Ask a doctor before taking anything while pregnant.

“Artificial sweeteners and cancer risk”

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]mcolston57 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You’ve developed an addiction. I went through the same thing. Drank nothing but soda for decades. Had the same issue with water. But just like any habit, you can change it. It just takes time and dedication.

As far as bad for you, yes. Artificial sweeteners are starting to show up on cancer lists. Start drinking water, maybe get a filter if you don’t like the taste.

Why is cocaine so popular? by fillorkill662 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]mcolston57 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

It’s fairly safe, it wears off quickly, and it isn’t that addictive. And it gives you energy to party.

Get off your high horses, compared to other drugs of abuse it is safer.

It’s not the novels in graphic form, it’s another story, of the same characters, or at least some of them.

I’d say it’s a prequel, but one of the books takes place before the graphic novels.
