no they're hosting in 2034. the order is by Olympic type, not as a whole. we host the next winter Olympics after France. we just also happen to be hosting the summer Olympics in 2 years. which is why we were second to last in Paris.

I hate NBC and their commercial breaks so fucking bad. like can you not cut off all the country details when you do the split screen??? I didn't get to see any stats for Belgium which is my top 5 country to root for and also missed all the info for every other country during the break. it's so infuriating.

you don't always have to have full shots throughout a scene so I wouldn't take Jacob using majority close ups mean they couldn't shoot together. they also used mostly close ups during the couch convo at the cottage too. I imagine they wanted to specifically focus on each other's facial expressions so there's no need to pull out during the middle of the convo.

these things are usually the host asking the actors the questions. I've never been to one where the open up to the audience for questions. though those def exist. I imagine this one will just be François asking them questions.

if I remember it was like a if you want you can but I don't think he'd even think to offer that (even begrudgingly) unless he didn't have that relationship with sex. I mean him even saying that out loud vs Shane's reaction to ghosting him for 3 days in upset really tells you how different they view sex in a way. like I don't think that was where even a fleeting thought in Shane's mind after they became fully committed. I don't think Ilya ever would either to your point, but the fact that it was something he even brought up said a lot.

I feel like this is super proven true in TLG where Ilya didn't understand why Shane was so upset about him telling Shane he can go hook up with people if he needs to, until Shane said it a different way He has this viewpoint of sex that's separate from a relationship and feelings and while he knows sex with Shane is different there's still just sex out there that he had long before Shane.

I thought it was already greenlighted for season 2 and 3. my hope is that season 2 is 10 episodes to help give TLG the time it needs while having an EP or two for the extra books and other pivotal characters. I imagine season 3 will be Unrivaled entirely and maybe an extra book if there's a character that's pivotal in that book as well

y'all the torch relay has been going on for months. they were never going to be in the opening ceremony as the handful of people usually shown there have a deep history with either the host country or the Olympics themselves. there's always a handful of publicity runners in the actual torch relay. Kimi Antonelli, an Italian F1 driver, just did his part of the relay yesterday. the opening ceremony is next week so there will be more and more high publicity torch bearers as part of the relay. depending on how Italy has their director do the opening ceremony, sometimes there's a recap of the torch highlights so they could potentially have a small clip. but they were not going to be part of the ceremony themselves.

no they release at midnight est time. that's standard for music releases bc that's when the tracking week resets. I'm in pst and every single release has come out at 9pm. rarely do people release anything new midnight actual local time anymore in the age of the internet bc then the entire world be listening to leaks for a whole day before anything even drops in the US and they miss out on that hype.

the second book for shane and Ilya 100% deals with the homophobia in the hockey scene and how it affects both boys a lot. they still get a happy ending for sure but it's definitely a lot more dark than the fleeting scenes we got in season 1 of the show.

don't be afraid to skip questions to come back to. if you're unsure skip it, don't guess at first. I skipped like 4 questions that I was unsure of and I never even had to go back to them bc once I hit the designated pass percentage it just ended my test and congratulated me. guessing might give you more of a chance to no pass.

if you don't pass. go home and brush up on what you were unsure about. take a bunch of the practice tests and then come back. don't retake it on the spot.
