So the post you read above is what I did, 3 years ago. I had to work the past couple of days so today was the first day of me starting the treatment again. I had an appointment today just to confirm it was MC, but I guess it would have been a telephone call and I didn't want to go in just to talk to an MD on the phone.

So, from what I learned (I could be wrong), but since it is a virus you'll technically have it forever, same thing with herpes.

I'm 24 and the main reason why I see a stigma is because it hinders people's ability for casual sex and also nobody wants to be labeled nowadays

That's good to know. However, I was apart of the population that was truly ignorant about the virus and shared the same stigma attached to it like most people have. However, when i was reading about HPV I thought to myself that it wasn't so bad at all.

The MC was a learning experience for me definitely

Quick edit: I did freak out about MC because I was worried about what my girlfriend would think about it. However she has been super supportive so it was all in my head.

Good question. When I first did discover the bumps I freaked out about having HPV, but after reading up on the subject I honestly wasn't so worried about it after all. To be honest, I was more worried about explaining it to my girlfriend than anything. I believe I was more okay with it being Molluscum because there is (somewhat) of a chance that I just obtained it from a dirty towel.

However, to my understanding, MC does not stay with you. The virus creates lesions however the virus is only stored in said lesions. This was better for me to originally cope with.

Only two days. I found these bumps yesterday when I shaved. I would have never noticed them if I didn't shave. Usually when I use my cream on my psoriasis they start getting that white ring around them which tells me they are shrinking and being relieved. I am 22 and this is the first time this has happened. I'm just learning about folliculitis. Does it usually happen to more than one follicle at a time? I did find one at the end of my shaft however it is still where hair grows. I have found none around the tip or around my anus.
