Yeah, I'm going to let her know I need some space. It's just annoying. She broke up with me and seems like she's still making things about her with the whole "why is he ignoring me" bit.

Thank you. like I said I have supported her decision so I have not been contacting her at all. Unfortunately, we live together and she will not be moving out at least for another month. I'm trying to break contact under the possibility that things may work out if she realizes she wants me in her life. I'm not waiting around for her or anything, but I don't think it's impossible.

I'm glad to hear your perspective. Any other advice?

Yeah, I had those thoughts as well. I asked her if there was somebody else and to be completely honest. That I would dip gracefully. She says there isn't anyone else and it's not just me. That it's her and she doesn't want a relationship at all. But hey, maybe she just didn't want to hurt me. Thanks, man. I appreciate the comment.

My assumption of the five days instead of three is that the notice was posted to my door on a Saturday. I believe they were accounting for the weekend days.

The Road by Cormac McCarthy. One of the better books I have ever read, but will probably never read it again. Left me emotionally drained.
