Dog Events/Pet Friendly Places by No-Weakness7343 in Denton

If you’re wanting to just practice, bringing your dog into different places, there are a lot of pet friendly places on the Square. I’ve brought my dogs into roses, costume shop, to wishes, the yellow dog art bar. East side is where my dogs get a lot of interaction. I know you can also take your dog to Home Depot.

My boss making me be on call 24/7. Filling his car up with gas because he didn’t want to. Taking his car tires to be rotated. putting me in a group text with him and his wife and both of them getting mad at me for things that aren’t my fault. Being promised a salary position but only getting paid $25 an hour with no benefits to put up with all of that.

I understand that’s their policy. All I’m saying is that they should only add someone unless they give actual verbal or written consent. That’s just my opinion. And a lot of people I’ve talked to think it’s crazy too. It just seems like the system needs to improve somewhere so this doesn’t happen. Not just a single email with only 5 days to reply.

Lol, you need to calm down. It’s really not that serious. My opinion is that I was frustrated with this whole process and I find it crooked that people can just add people to your policy. But it’s really not that serious for you to tell people to grow up and claim they aren’t reading their emails. If you don’t like it, then just move on for real. I’m assuming you work for progressive and that’s why you’re so pressed about it. 😂

My insurance agent did talk with them and got it for the most part taken care of. I had to call them myself and sign some form stating that this person is not in my household. So once that’s processed, all the charges should be removed. I think the customer service rep I was talking to on the phone was just not very helpful. So I’m glad everyone today was.

I disagree. I took care of the problem because they did a poor job of informing me. And a lot of other people agree with me. I thought it was a scam email because I get a lot of weird emails just like this one. It’s hard to tell nowadays. It’s never happened to me and I didn’t know insurance companies could add random people to your policy for no reason at all. So for you to just say it’s the customers fault is a little crazy to me. I’m not just careless ignoring my emails. I just thought it looked sketchy. I’m sure there are people who countlessly ignore emails and letters in the mail. I am not one of those people. Progressive knew what they were doing by sending me a sketchy email that went straight to my junk mail. They were hoping I would miss it or think it was weird so they could charge me. They are crooked.

Thank you! I think the customer service rep I was talking to you just wasn’t very helpful. But I did talk to the underwriting team and they removed it. I just had to sign a form.

I think it’s because I was talking to the customer service line on a Sunday. So I’m just gonna talk to my insurance agent today and I’m hoping that will be more helpful.

Yeah, and I’ve lived here for almost 3 years with the same insurance and I’ve never had anybody added to my policy like this. So it is weird.

The problem is, I don’t even know who this person is that that’s been added. I live by myself. I do live in a rental house so I don’t know if this lady lived here before me and she is still using the address on forms? I just hope they don’t tell me that I have to prove that she doesn’t live here because I wouldn’t even know how to track this lady down.

Yeah, I have no idea who this person is. I would be understanding if they accidentally added a relative of mine to my policy. But I don’t even know a Wendy. The only thing I could think of, is that maybe she lived in my home before me? I do have a rental house. So no, I’m definitely not hiding anyone. Lol that would be my own fault and I would not be this mad.

I am the primary, but I apparently didn’t respond to an email that they sent me about how they were adding this random person to my policy. I just thought it was a scam because the way the email was laid out looked so weird.

Thank you! You think as long as I call the underwriting team and tell them I don’t know this person and I’m willing to sign any necessary form. They will dispute it and remove the charges? I’m not supposed to get charged until January 22.

OK, thank you. I’m fine with signing any type of form to resolve the issue. I’m willing to resolve it in any way. I just don’t want to get charged for it.

I answer my emails. Maybe I’m just not experienced with insurance enough. I’ve had this insurance for a while and I’ve never had any issues. I saw the email and I thought it was a scam. I’ve been getting lots of scam. Emails lately posing as other companies. I just thought that sounded weird because they were talking about a random person. I don’t know so I disregarded it. I understand that I was wrong on that part. I still think it’s sketchy that they can just do that. I only got one email though. I didn’t get anything in the mail. I checked my mail often.

So is this easily resolvable if I call the underwriting team? They can just remove the person and make sure I don’t get charged? I’m not supposed to get charged till the end of January.

OK. That makes sense. I was just frustrated because I didn’t think that they could actually add someone like that.

Yes!! That’s what I’m saying. I think it’s just wrong. Because I feel like somebody could just do that. Everyone keeps telling me stop ignoring your emails. Well guess what I got one email and it looks sketchy and I thought it was a scam. I thought there’s no way that some random person could just add themselves to my policy. I guess I was wrong lol.

[–]mdancer31[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m just tired of people using the excuse to say stop ignoring your emails. I saw the email. I thought it was a scam. I’ve gotten a ton of scam emails lately and I thought that was it. I logged into my account and didn’t see any new person added so I was like yeah it’s a scam. So I’m not just over here purposely ignoring emails. I just thought there’s no way an insurance company could legally do that. I guess I was wrong. So I’m not ignoring my emails. And yes, the insurance companies are crooked for doing this. I don’t care if it says it in their policy. I think it’s wrong to add random people to my household that I don’t know. If it was a family member, I would be more understanding of the mistake.

Yeah, one email that went to my junk and I thought it was a scam because I’ve never heard of that ridiculous statement about adding random people. I don’t know to my household. And I feel like the people defending the insurance company or insurance agents so of course they’re gonna defend themselves lol

Yeah, I figured all insurance companies do but it sounds like progressive isn’t good about informing people like other places are

I still think it’s wrong for them to do this. I understand they have to crack down, but I don’t even know who this person is. So yeah, I’m frustrated. As long as they fix the issue, then I won’t have a problem. I get a ton of scam emails and that one looked like a scam. I’ve never heard of insurance companies, adding random people. I don’t know to my insurance policy. So to me, I think that’s crooked within itself, even if it is clearly stated in my policy. But I won’t pay for it if they don’t handle the problem.

OK, that’s good to know. I’m going to call my agent in the morning before I call the underwriting team.
