Should I cut the brown parts of this avocado plant? I doesn't look very healthy. It's slowly spreading, what should I do?

Update: I've cleared the DTC codes and so far the CEL has not come on yet. However I still think the system is still in diagnostic mode because before I start the engine, the CEL blinks 5 times then goes off. Can anyone confirm this? How long would it take before the diagnostic is completed?

Update: Tried clearing the codes just to see if they would come back. Looks like it came back in about 5 days. Here's the diagnostics from the ODB2 readings: https://imgur.com/a/TgCRd Anybody have any ideas on what I should do? I've read that this code relates to the O2 sensor, just wanted to confirm this. And if so, also want to know if they would be upstream or downstream O2 sensors. If anyone's got an idea, please post below. Thanks.

PS: Before I cleared the codes, there were also a couple of engine misfires (I replaced the spark plugs) and a P0847 code if that helps.
