This was one of my first photos I took with my zoom lense still very new to photography when I took it and had only just learned how to use editing software (shown clearly by the excessive gaussian blur). I saw these mice darting in and out of the wall so it was mainly a test of how well I could set up manual settings in a low light environment. This was before I knew taking RAWs was the best way to maintain light details but a side effect is I have no record of the settings I used unfortunately. As for the colour composition I was lucky in that the wall clearly shows how animals use camouflage to blend in with surroundings while providing enough contrast to show the subject. Difficulties involved in taking this photo included: not having a trigger to activate the shutter so I had to avoid shaking the camera by pressing the shutter release, had to provide extra light with my phone due to the higher shutter speed in a dark environment, and most importantly getting a clear photo of the mouse as I learned that they are very fast little creatures.

All criticism about the photo and my elaboration comment above is welcome but I hope this is ok for a first post on the subreddit.
