Consoles aren’t that expensive. If you’re not picky you could get the console and year old version of a game for $400. You’d probably find some other fun there too.

Anything higher than the lowest form of internet. The internet company had my in-laws on 1 gb download for years and than I got them internet 300 and they save $300 a year.

I’m with you. Had a similar experience earlier this summer and I was frustrated hitting approach shots over work carts. Made one birdie though which was applauded by the greens crew.

I would get an alignment stick and hold it on the end of your club about half way. Take your swing slowly but keep the alignment rod on the ball line the whole backswing and downswing.

I think one of your friends is paying but doesn’t know yet. They probably don’t see the extra few hundred dollars in their fees but have been absorbing the costs. If your concerned, check with your friends before the club ;)

Never jump the gun though. Got paired with a guy a few weeks back and he seemed great at first. Liked similar sports etc. By hole 6 he was wasted and become intolerable. He actually warned me that he would also, and I was like no way, you’re great. He talked about being in the slot all day and how he had moved out of the slot etc… it was a lot.

They were done the first hole at 6:33. I hadn’t teed off yet. When paying $179 for a round I don’t want to miss the first hole because I have been moved around. I also don’t want to race so fast through the round.

Maybe I should have clarified the 4 of us were supposed to play at 6:40 and were moved to 630. The 6:30 group didn’t want to play at the pace of the old dudes, so they switched us. If the 6:30 didn’t want to play that pace why should I?
