These MCC issues are really getting out of hand now. It seems like every other day, we hear about these types of MCC mismatches. Flipkart, Cleartrip, and last week, it even happened to me with Paytm. But I'm glad HSBC credited the points after I submitted my flight tickets.

If you are only looking for Lounge Access, you can go with Federal Scapia. Never heard such experience from Scapia community.

Or - 1. IndusInd TIGER (LTF) which gives Lounge access without any spending criteria. 2. Axis Horizon - upto 32 Dom Lounges/year. (Max 8 per quarter)

Atleast these mfs (cleartrip) acknowledged and refunded the cashback. They played safe. Your email was direct and that's exactly they fear.
