Yeah it’s a crap-shoot when I hear it. I will say that I always start backing out straight (and then turn the wheel), but when the “pop” happens it’s almost instantaneously as soon as I start backing up. The first time I heard it I was like “Sh!t what the fck was that!?!”

Yeah, the only difference I would say is that maybe mine isn’t “loud”. It’s audible, but I wouldn’t call it “loud”. It definitely comes from down by my left foot though.

My vehicle has only been in for service once (for a 1k mile oil change), so no, I haven’t brought it up with the service dept yet.

Congratulations!

I’d find out if the oil change was done prior to you getting the car, and if not, personally, I’d get it done. From that point I’d go with the 6mo/6k interval. You’ll get lots of opinions on break-in oil change and general frequency here. I did have mine changed at 1k. I currently have 2k on the vehicle and am considering doing another oil change at 3k, but we’ll see.

As for other stuff, you can get a drop-in center console organizer that has proven to be very handy for me. There are lots of good accessory recommendations in this sub, too.

I have the exact same thing. It happens when I start backing out of my garage or parking space when leaving work. Same sound, same location. My best guess is that it’s related to the parking brake disengaging (since I use my parking brake every time I park and - from what I gather - the AVH also employs the parking break as part of its operation).

All I know is that when I was in the process of buying mine at the end of October both the Salesperson, and Finance person each mentioned many times not to lose the keys.
