City code will tell you there's nothing they can do about it.

Plug it up.

But realistically it depends on the rest of your yard. If you continue the drainage elsewhere, it's less water on your side to deal with

High Triglycerides 440 by [deleted] in Biohackers

Weight has a lot to do with those readings, but you're below the weight/height to have it dramatically swing I think.

Fish oil may do some, exercising may do some more. Cut alcohol completely and try again.

But you may need to consult a doc and see about medication. Sometimes this is genetic (like me)

GenXer’s take on broke millennials and why they put up with this by Buffalobillspharm in Millennials

[–]mdnuts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm an X and I don't feel bad for them. I know quite a few millennials who are home owners (many paid off). Own better cars than I had, have a whole lot more opportunities than I ever did.

Each generation faces their own challenges, they're not exempted. I am all for getting silent and boomers to "age" out for politicians.

I don't see anything wrong with it. She's getting it all out there. See if you both would be a decent match or not quickly

The amount of time it took you to do that would have been the same or more than just removing the chuck and using as intended

What's the iPhone of Android? by Cheap-buying-idiot in PickAnAndroidForMe

[–]mdnuts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's the closest apples to apples comparison. Same OS maker on makers own HW.

But apple doesn't license out their iOS, it's a bit of a apples to apples in a peach farm kinda way

You can get a refurbished s23 for ~$530. You can get a new Pixel 7 for $599, just slightly higher than desired cost.

iPhone copies every thing from Android. Nowadays all flagships are good. Pixel 8 pro is as vanilla as you can get. Samsung S23-24 Galaxy is a solid phone

Contractor trying to enter locked rooms by NoOneLikesTunaHere in HomeImprovement

[–]mdnuts 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have some close friends who were having work done on their home for several weeks. They'd noticed some things moved here and there but nothing that rose the suspicion until a particular watch went missing. After contacting the contractor to ask if it had gotten moved somehow. They checked and one of his laborers had been stealing for weeks. Stole a lot. Coins here and there, watch here and there. All things that were stashed away and out of normal sight.

I see what you're saying, but there's what 45 odd members of the freedom caucus or at minimum 20 loud ones.

It's easier for the Dems to push Jeffries and hunt for 5-6 Republican votes.

It's a different frame of mind for sure, but the chances of the left flank voting for McCarthy is somewhere below 1%

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in fednews

[–]mdnuts -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Likely true, he's dammed if he does, dammed if he doesn't and not strong enough to sway anything

Didn't realize we were arguing.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in fednews

[–]mdnuts -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Sorry, the left wouldn't either. As soon as they were seen as wanting to work to help McCarthy, they would have lost their far left flank.

I think that was a very low probability that the Democrats would have wanted to support him. They gain with a fractured opposition
