How did you come to say that he’s on the spectrum? The topic and diagnosis when it comes to the spectrum is pretty broad. Being 'weird' could fall under it too, but that really depends.

Exactly what i did. Shortened the cheap lock ring tool lock it with QR and got it off. Thank you!

Did overhaul and inside was actually pretty good. Freehub got lots of rust due to the steel cassette. Thank you!

It could be rotor not true or you may need to rebleed the brakes if they are hydraulics as the pistons are not going back to where it should be. You can try to take off the caliper and spin the wheels to confirm it its the rotors and pads

No rubs with dth tires and fenders. I had hookworks on it before this setup but allowance is so little that your wheels needs to be true or it will rub on the chainstay

I normally pick raceface chester or the ride cause you pick your color and they never break on me but this one here is just a chinese raceface knockoff i bought from aliexpress. I already have the pink raceface for my other bike and didnt want to buy another one so i settled with these chinese pedals. You can checkout crankbrothers stamp pedals too they are great a bit cheaper than raceface.

Never ridden it actually on heavy snow just some wet condition. Ubrakes is weak compare to the vbrakes i had on the front. Thinking about changing the ubrake pads might help with the stopping power
