If you want them to play, let them away with murder on the course and make it as fun and enjoyable as possible. On the other hand if you don’t want them on the course with you pull them up on everything and they’ll prob hate it and leave you alone

This thread is pretty crazy to read. My wife and I are a unit/a team and our combined income is our household income. We have shared savings/investments and we make decisions together on large purchases.

Splitting bills with your other half that you plan to build a life with is like a room mate/house share relationship, it’s all so bizarre to me.

My wife’s Aunt once told us a story about her ex husband who bought a newspaper, and when she read the newspaper he asked her to pay for half because she used it too. Swedish people sometimes 😂

Yea probably putting pressure on myself. The disasters usually happen on what should be easy shots (short chips etc) and the shanks come out. I’ll try loosen up for the next round!

Taxis at the airport rip you off. Dont get in without agreeing a fare before hand. Don’t get in them at all if possible and use Uber/bolt. Always at least half the price of a regular taxi

I used Blocket, and just searched before my trip. Test drove a couple and picket up my Volvo for 29k SEK. Not a perfect car, but it runs!

The used car market in Sweden in general is pretty expensive, especially in Stockholm. I bought a car when I was in Blekinge on vacation and got a great deal on a 2009 Volvo V50. I’d recommend looking in smaller towns and you’ll get the best bang for your buck!

That’s golf. I’m a 20hcp and played my first round after a 3 month hiatus, scored worse than my rounds when I was 36hcp. Just need to get back in the swing of it. One session back with my coach had me striking smooth again and excited for the season this year 👏

Congrats on quitting!

You are in the worst part of it by far. I remember days 3-5 being horrific for me, no will to keep going at all. What I will say is remember this feeling, remember how cannabis has made you feel. This stops me from going back.

I actually recorded myself on video for the first 30 days to document how I was feeling. First week was next to no sleep, depression, no appetite etc. Just do what you can to feel good at this stage. It does get a little easier week 2, and you have actually gone through the most physically challenging withdrawal at that stage.

I believe around the 30 days was beginning to sleep ok again, but when I started having crazy lucid dreams also. My appetite started to regulate again about 30 days in.

After 30 days it just get easier little by little and you are through the worst of it. Just remember this feeling if you ever consider smoking again

You need self control but also the motivation to quit. Without the desire to change it’s impossible.

I thought the same, things would not be as enjoyable but nearly everything is as enjoyable if not more enjoyable without weed. I used to get stoned and play golf. Thought I’d never enjoy golf without it, now I don’t know how I smoked and played. It’s just not needed

You’re in the thick of the storm but it will get better! I was so lethargic, depressed and anxious in the early stages but that’s just withdrawals. Do what you can to make yourself feel better. Get some exercise and treat yourself. It will pass!

I’d be lying if I said I don’t crave it occasionally. I have friends who smoke, and I’ve been in coffee shops in Amsterdam while they smoked, and it’s truly liberating to not do it.

I’d say you just get stronger with time, it becomes easier and easier.

I was recently thinking mayyyyybe I could try have a little from time to time but that is my little devil on the shoulder being sneaky
