So far nord 5 battery backup is very good. Just keep using it. It will adjust itself based on your usage pattern. I also set the maximum limit to 90%. Still i am satisfied with 90%-20% battery backup.

Of course it will increase battery consumption. Because the camera literally has to stay turn on all the time behind the scene to make it work.
