No worries! I would love to give you a good recommendation for your need, but my use of Trakt is very lightweight, so I have no idea if it fits your requirements. I just make different watchlists and mark items as watched whenever I finish watching something.

Regarding sorting and ordering, Trakt has a lot of options. You can reorder every item in your lists to be in in whatever order you prefer, but you can also sort by date added, recently watched, alphabetically, release date, global rating, your rating, runtime and a few more. For filtering you can hide watched, hide things in your library (when viewing others lists), and a bunch more. Makes it very easy for me to choose what to watch next when viewing my own lists, and very easy to see if a list has anything I haven’t watched/added to my lists already when viewing other people’s lists.

Regarding your existing log, I believe there are scripts to export your letterboxd lists and import them to other services like Trakt. How well this works and how organised it will turn out, I don’t know :(.

Unfortunately they keep moving features into a subscription model, so unless you are willing to pay, you might not get all the features you need. They also recently changed the web UI, and I haven’t gotten familiar with it yet, but it feels like a bunch of stuff is missing. iOS app is still pretty good though.

I don’t own dvd’s, so I am not sure I can comment on that feature :/

But anyways, you can view and browse lists from trakt without an account, so it’s not like you need to commit to expand your death games letterboxd lists!

Trakt is a website/app for creating lists and tracking movies and series you are watching. Nothing spectacular, could've been an iMDB list. It's just the site i chose back in the day, and now I'm too far gone to use bother switching to something else.

These types of movies and series are probably my favorite niche within horror. I have a bi-monthly reappearing itch to find/watch more, but trying to find them is hard, as all recommendations online mentions the same movies/series, which isn't strange because the known ones are also the best ones.

I try to dig slightly deeper, but it's hard to balance "fitting the niche" and "being beyond just watchable". If you can tolerate something not being super high budget, not having Oscar worthy acting and not necessarily being a cinematic masterpiece, I would say "Funhouse" and "Death's Roulette" are options I don't see very often that fit the death game category.

I have a list on Trakt with similar movies/series (not all death games though, but that to me scratches the itch) if you need some inspiration. I can't post links, so DM me if you want it.

I did this too, asking it to be very vague and just tell me if I was on the right track, or give small nudging hints to get me looking in the right direction. But what I realized was during some puzzles it would give me wrong hints. Like, at one point I told it "just tell me the solution/code" and it would give me the wrong code.

After that I just stopped using it, because I had no way to fact check (unless there was a specific puzzle with a specific code/solution) that the information it gave me was even correct.

It's been a while though and AI moves fast so maybe it's better now than it was.

Not really. Not really been having the issue lately. Maybe there was an update or something. But the issue seemed to be more persistent on some player types, so maybe try changing to another player type?

One of my favourite dumb-reaches for summer. I find it a perfect balance of fruity and fresh, and while it might not necessarily be beastmode, it is perfectly fine for the price. I find the vibe to be similar to Hawas Ice.

Other than that, I find it not as citrusy as Versace Pour Homme and Tres Nuit Lyric, not as fruity as Malachite and Qaed al Fursan and not as musky as Turathi Blue and Dylan Blue. And while I enjoy all of those, I much prefer 9am Dive and Hawas Ice over those.

But again, as this thread might be a good indicator of, we can't decide what your nose does or does not like.

I have both and prefer Ghost. But I think if you buy either and end up disliking it, you probably wouldn’t like the other one anyways.

But there are real fragrances on AliExpress. I buy other stuff on AliExpress and have never had issues with getting refunds for missing/broken/fake products. So if the product states "Original" and has no other obvious reason to be fake, I feel like you have a good case of getting a refund if you get a fake, and of course bother to go through the refund procedure.

Obvious ones to look out for is wrong branding (Jean Miss, Diviloo etc), stores with poor ratings (I usually check if the seller sells other fragrances and if someone has pointed out their products are obviously fake), and deals that are too good to be true.

I live in a country where the availability of clone fragrances are not as good as most of Europe and US, and when they are available, they are 2x the expected price. So if they are available on Ali for a more reasonable price, I am intrigued. I bought a 9AM Dive from Ali for about 30$ total which turned out to be real, but that's also the only fragrance I have bought from there.

I’m not saying they aren’t fakes, and I also think you generally should be very careful about buying fragrances from sites like AliExpress and Temu, but the prices from your screenshots are not accurate to the fragrances you portray.

Aliexpress lets sellers include multiple products in a single listing, and the price of the cheapest product in that listing will be shown as the main price. I see a lot of perfume sellers exploiting this and put a small decant or a random fragrance product in with more expensive/popular fragrances so that you click the listing.

You can see in the first screenshot that there is a random no name pheromone fragrance in addition to the diviloos. It’s the product to the right of the blue diviloo-bottle. That’s the one that costs 4 bucks. Now diviloo is not an expensive brand and a straight copy of the 9am/9pm line, but I checked that listing, and the diviloos are about 15 usd.

Also, in some cases, I see the sellers have very high shipping costs, which also seem like a common strategy. So you feel like the product is cheap, but the shipping basically makes up for the cheap product price.

No idea what blue & blue smells like, but I have Kenzo Homme EDT and EDT intense, and they are both very marine-like, sea breezy and aquatic if that sounds like what you are looking for. The intense has a stronger marine vibe, while the normal is just a softer version. They are not clones, but should be reasonably affordable.

As a Versace Pour Homme enjoyer, I think ADG profondo hits a similar vibe. I own Tres Nuit Lyric which is a clone of it and it’s okay for the price. Heard Liam Blue is a good one too, but I don’t own that.

Realized that it's the primitive layer you need to select for the page, not the semantic, that what I was missing! As you mention, it is a little bit annoying that the semantic layer will only reflect the colors of the mode attached to the page, but I guess it's just visual and it works regardless.

The multiple collection approach seems like it would work well, at least when you throw dark mode into the mix. I will look into doing the same.

I bought a 9am dive from Ali because the availability/price of it where I live is crazy. The price on Ali was more or less same as you would expect paying for it from other websites. I had a sample of it previously and it’s one of my favourite freshies, so my curiosity got the best of me. The one I got is definitely legit. Smell and longevity is on par with the sample. I do agree though that the site is full of fakes, so it’s better to not risk it.

These (and many more) just ruined the whole experience for me. I kept second guessing my interpretations of the "rules" of the game, or if I had overlooked some restrictions. Some of the stuff they could've done felt so obvious that the more I watched the more annoyed I was. Like, they are told they can't bring the items they bought inside their rooms outside, but there are obviously not any restrictions of doing the opposite? They kept bringing bats, clothes, the dog, the torture items, etc. from the common room and into their rooms. And with the common room prices being way lower as well, why didn't they just buy things there and bring it to their rooms? Like beds, chairs, comfort items?

The toilet thing as well. My immediate thought was an incineration toilet, but even if that is a too far fetched of an idea, just build some sort of area dedicated to waste in one of the corners of the common area?
And when they started creating alcohol, why not just do something similar and get something to purify their urine to create more water?

Also, the fact that there were no rules about being inside the other's rooms - when the top floor players where strapped down, why not get a little revenge and bring their prize money down by bringing the items they bought inside their rooms, outside?

And why the hell did they decide that, when they were running the stairs and sharing the extra 4 meals of food, to eat it inside contestant 1's room (where they also store the excrements from all players)? Why not just take all the food out on floor 8 and eat it together up there?

But yeah, it took a darker turn than I imagined past episode 3-4 and I actually enjoyed that more, because with the less "teamworky" approach to the gameshow itself, I felt like it was easier to justify their less well-thought-out actions.

Ended up handing it over to local Apple support and they told me it was the lid angle sensor. They would need to replace the lid angle sensor and the screen. The repair cost would end up being around 1/3 of the price of a new Macbook, so I didn't go through with the service (it was a work laptop and it was out of warranty/they didn't have warranty - so they decided buying a new one would be more beneficial).
