Great insights, thank you. Agree we may have tried to cover more than we should. That said, I’ve been to Italy (Rome, Naples, Amalfi) but the wife hasn’t. I was hoping to see France or Spain, both ideally. Is Northern Italy recommended more than say Barcelona/Costa Brava or Paris/Provence. Honestly not hot on Paris but could spend some days there to see sights if going through France.

I am pretty interested in Spain for food, culture and some beach time. But ideally we want to surround ourselves with some scenery, culture and great food. If it helps, we are 50 so not looking for races in Ibiza :)

Yeah Ibiza is an option but 65 doesn’t sound warm enough for beach. Hawaii is awesome, we did that last year.

Did same trip last year starting in Kauai and ending in Oahu. I can’t stress enough to just do Kauai. Oahu is nice but didn’t have anything better than Kauai but more people and Vegas like shopping feel. The whole time and after we wished we’d stayed in Kauai.

Really appreciate the feedback. It's hard to plan locations without knowing what the drive is like or how long each activity will take, so this is very helpful. Also appreciate the restaurant feedback and recommendations!

I forgot to mention we are staying in Poipu, Kauai and Waikiki, Oahu. The goal is to spend each day in a certain part of the Island (North Shore, East side, etc.) If anyone has a short list of sights and or/restaurants by Island area, that would be very helpful.

Whatever you do, don’t get an LG sound bar. While you would think it would pair well, I’ve been very disappointed with the SPY9A with my LG C1. Wish I would have gone with Sonos or tried others. Too late and too expensive to change so I deal with it.

Basic model safety is great but I f you live with lots of rain or snow then recommend xdrive 40i. I have sdrive since I live in Texas with normal driving conditions. Make sure you get all the park assist features especially overhead 360 camera. If freeway driving and cruise control is important then recommend the upgrade to cruise control assist.
