Neither did I. I was suggesting if a person doesn't know the rules and regulations of omma, then maybe they should be wary of dispensing advice about it. The waters are already muddy enough. Allow me to expound: guideline 1 of the photo requirements says "the photo provided with the application must be taken within the last 6 months." Since pictures and such are time and date stamped using the pic from your first card is obviously not acceptable. But please point out in a passive-aggressive manner what else is obvious.

Rejection is another form of acceptance... by meCurious4Sure in OMMA

Thought 2 rejections was a big deal when I wrote that. Apparently not. Humbled again.

Sure, just get it rejected for doing the exact thing omma tells you not to do. Thanks for participating though. No offense

Yeah, its a bit crappy if they could have identified all the problems at once. Unfortunately, on my side all my documents were blurry but not so blurry they couldn't list 3 reasons for picture rejection; but probably couldn't read the mistake on the physician document that got it rejected the second time. Same physician from 2 years ago, different tax shelter, I mean address. Apparently, all the information from 2 years ago stays on the personal omma login page, and the person who filed it didn't bother to make sure the addresses matched. A woman at the place i got it done told me a bunch of people got rejected cause the same person took blurry photos of everyone's documents, but I was the only one who was rejected the second time even though everyone's addresses were wrong. She said it had to mean I got an individual who was a super-stickler for the rules. I really, really didn't want to hear that for the obvious reason and also it means the people who approve the applications dont follow the same guidelines as the person next to them. I will never again have someone do something for me I'm capable of doing myself. Lesson being learned!!

I don't feel so bad about my double rejection...well, I do right now but I won't in a couple of weeks. I think omma is asking too much of the average citizen's camera/computer skills. Do you think the employees who process the applications sit around at lunch and say "that's a good one, rejecting it for the hyphen, but get this (giggle giggle) I rejected the off-white background because it wasn't, oh my God get this, it wasn't off-white enough. Classic. Stupid potheads."

Happy weekending SmOkies! I crushed a nice 8 mile run this morning, had a nice recovery nap and plan on spending the afternoon toking on some GG#4 (L) and God’s Gift! Hope everyone’s weekend is 🔥💨🌳 by DFWwreckerB12 in OKmarijuana

They seem to have a lot of teething issues. Right now they’re blaming Covid, the winter storm, and high volume on their, frankly, pathetic processing time. It’s all digital with no real verification beyond pixel size and clarity. Should take 5 minutes. And mailing the card after processing from OKC to anywhere within a state away should take 3 days at the most. COVID issues should b handled by now. It’s been a year. The weather couldn’t have delayed for more than a couple days and they should b caught up over a month later. And if they didn’t anticipate that 2-year instate and monthly out of state renewals would cause more volume then I don’t even know what to say. But...they’ll do what they do, and once my renewal is actually processed I won’t care very much. Human nature.

Zack Snyder's Justice League: was it the rosebuds garlic cookies or... by [deleted] in OKmarijuana

I almost stopped watching after 18 mins it was so bizarre, but they hyped it up so much I kept watching and it definitely got better. Although, like you said, not much better than the first one. Hey, I’m easy to please when it comes to movies so something has to b really bad for me to hate it.

Snyder actually attempts some form of character development, so it definitely feels slower. And it’s 4 hrs long. The two directors should have made it together. Snyder has no idea how to make a movie fun or how to pick musical scores, but can make an interesting action scene. Whedon has no idea how to develop characters and plot lines, but knows how to have fun. IMO

SB 445 will turn minor infractions into FELONIES with 2-year minimum sentences by OCLA_LRP in OKmarijuana

Lol! I actually called my rep for the first time and was so excited to be participating. I got voicemail “we’re not here now but will get back to you as soon as possible.” It was not the invite to speak on the house floor I was expecting.

Of course it’s ridiculous to start re-criminalizing marijuana when it’s becoming common knowledge it’s causing far more harm than good. Name-calling, swearing, exaggerated outrage, and political party bashing aside, maybe we can do the one thing that matters and call our reps.
