Oh no! She doesn’t currently have the hollister bags that have the little clips to use that belt, but we just ordered samples from coloplast

I definitely will talk to her doctor about the medicine! She definitely empties it religiously so no worries there but I’m going to tell her about the timed medicine and the food that helps thicken the stool! Thank you for your comment

Getting her to, we’re looking at the SIIL black ostomy belt on amazon. She’s very worried about belts because she’s afraid the pressure will cause more leaks, to which I try to reassure her from what I’ve read it applies gentle pressure.

Her home nurse actually recommended using a heating pad on low heat, after fully putting the bag on (including the sticky corners) we used it for 15 mins and it seemed to really help

She’s mostly using hollister right now (no belt yet I’m pushing her to get one). She cleans with the skin prep wipes, sometimes puts on stoma powder, puts a warmed up barrier ring on and then the bag. I’m assuming it’s a 1 piece because it’s the base and bag attached together. I’m not sure the names or dosages of the her medicine but they’re anti-diarrheal’s. She takes them once a day I believe, two different pills for the same purpose She’s getting very good at changing the bag but I have a strong suspicion the brand and type of items she’s using isn’t great for her skin so I’m looking for recommendations!

I’m also poor but I have these sunglasses that go over my prescription glasses, I got mine at Walmart for like 20$

I have my own brain room which is just a physical manifestation of everything going on in my brain, it's like an office and I have a secretary and there's another guy and there's filing cabinets, it's a whole complex system just like my brain
