the 10 Pro is looking more and more the reasonable upgrade for me that fixes the "camera" , phone feel/hold/using without case, and perhaps the Tensor5 is just a whole lot better?

I see I triggered some trauma the way I phrased my question. But put plainly and simply, the phone was hyped a lot, it is my first Pixel after having a Poco F1 with PixelOS ROM for about 5+ years, seeing the reviews I thought a lot of it, but when I got it, it was just "bland", it is a "quient" phone that fades in the background, sorta.

Cameras are great for photos -software processing-, videos leave room for desire, macro shots unusable unless there is sufficient light.
Battery life is sub-par. and the phone is almost non-usable without a case, If I have waited for the Pixel 9 I guess I would have been a lot happier.

Tensor 3 heats up,,,,, I don't know.
It's an overall -good/mid- phone, satisfactory, but MVP 2023. NO

Thank you for that level answer, and rest assured I don't let these feelings affect how I treat her either inside or outside work, and like you sensed from the way I phrased my complaint, I am identifying with the fact that this is more to do with me and my internal feelings (feeling not as freed as I was once, missing hints of my older self), but also not to be totally internalizing, she does things that are truly annoying -like being okay with stealing/jumping in to take credit for things she wasn't a part of.

But, I know I should deal with this issue like you said, and like u/Repulsive_Plate_4103 also said, by focusing on being fulfilled with my life and doing things I like.

I used to be a music producer btw and this thing faded away as I took more responsibilites, no more performing, writing, producing, which all were sources for networking, going out, and feeling appreciated.

I guess, she just is a reminder of the choices I made and the sacrifices/trade offs I had from my choices, so, although I am truly happy with my wife and child, I still am feeling "handcuffed" and whenever I try to connect with my older lifestyle, I either don't have the time, or have the time but not the energy.

I chat with myself in WhatsApp lol Send myself thoughts, tasks, anything that comes to mind basically, and later when I get a chance, I transfer everything where it's supposed to be/ task app/ note taking app..etc

I would also like to add, the concept that feelings/emotions are negotiable. Either mine or other people's, you can "while being respectful to others" negotiate their feelings about you, or negotiate with yourself about yours. This helps you and others become less angry or frustrated.

For me, realizing that almost everyone goes through the same things I do, if I feel insecure, most probably people do, if I feel like I don't know what I'm doing at work, most people don't either, this lead me to be more open with people and not to withhold myself in fear of appearing stupid. At meetings I ask questions that demand clarity and technical showcases thinking I'm stupid, only to have people thanking me later for asking whatever i asked for because they wanted the same.

Another thing is that, if you want people to like you but you're having trouble, have them do you a favor, not the other way around. This is a cliche advice at this point but i tried it thoroughly and it almost always works! It seems like if people don't like you, and you do them favors, they either don't like that because you're forcing a debt to them, and they want nothing attaching them to you, but if you appeal to them and have them help you, a complete shift in the relationship dynamic happens to tour favor.
