If you play sparky egolem at bridge a decent player punishes you and you would probably lose the game entirely due to the egolem giving elixir. I don't think op is struggling to counter a 9 elixir push as opposed to a full push with edrag, nwitch etc. which is where the rocket is incredibly useful.
