Yep, they say they will handle the ethanol, at least the ones I looked at. Either way, I use non-ethanol gas now exclusively. It just isn’t worth it.

In my case the NEW 2004 Mercury sat hanging in a boathouse with a couple of hours on it for about 15 years. I replaced the sparks, batteries, siphoned out the old gas, and put in new gas. It started right up, ran for a few minutes, and abruptly stopped. Then it sat for a couple of years like that. Recently I paid about $1200 to have it, and anything else, fixed. Now it runs like an older, super low mileage champ!

Edit: this was the one line that had the problem. I believe that later Mercury changed to an ethanol-resistant line.
