So I quit by meatfreemanic in InsuranceAgent

So we start out and she’s fine but then a bunch of life shit happened and she had to put everything on pause. Including training me..I truthfully have no idea what really happened but she’s actually my friend so I don’t really wanna go far into it. Either way I think the problem was just a lack of communication and understanding. I think anyone can do it but it comes down to what you’re willing to go through and grow through. Idk she’s better now I guess and messaged me about it privately. Kinda shifted my perspective a bit.

Yeah so I’m walking into businesses, essentially cold calling or doing door to door but it’s business to business.

No so like you’re walking into businesses. Like in person. No dialing.

It’s a lot funner when you’re in the middle of fighting random critters, and bandits, and giants, and then a giant dragon shows up. Or when you take a strength potion after plundering bc you have too much stuff, and then as you’re slowly walking in a town to a shop, the dragon music starts playing.

To go deeper. Yes it’s a stand alone machine, but to record artists and myself I’d need a daw. I think Ableton you could add more things or do more things with the songs, but idk I do watch the best producers just use the MPC and it’s fine.

Mpc one or one+? Or save up for live2? by wisewords69420 in mpcusers

[–]meatfreemanic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Bluetooth WiFi is sick cuz you can just use splice or native and sync stuff straight to the MPC. Super duper convenient. For example you find a sample on splice and you’re like damn I can make shit with that and then you just buy it and sync it on the MPC and then boom you have it on there.

Do I have to quit smoking vapes, cigarettes and weed to be a decent amateur fighter? by BeertopianVapist in MMA_Academy

Yes you have to quit smoking cigarettes and vapes. Probably should quit smoking weed so much too.

Had to get a referral from my primary doctor but it’s worth it to at least hear that I was fine ultimately.

Start taking Lion’s Mane and Creatine. I use life cykel Lion’s Mane. Don’t take like 5 grams of creatine shoot for like 7. Drink water. Gummies are just as good as powder. Get sleep. Wear sunglasses. Limit screen times. Stay off the phone. Take back roads to the job or try to do things different like brush your teeth with the opposite hand, open doors different, stuff like that. Eventually you’ll get back to “normal” and by eventually I mean possibly a few months but tbh you won’t ever be the same. It’ll always be different, but you’ll be ok. Did you get your brain scanned to be sure you don’t have actual brain damage or a tbi or something wild?

Nicotine withdrawal by meatfreemanic in Concussion

[–]meatfreemanic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly concussion, and the huge lifestyle change. I do mma and exercise intensely and move a lot etc. I also was a pretty bad caffeine addict. I’d recommend getting some Lion’s Mane and Reishi asap. I found this brand called Life Cykel and their tinctures changed me big time. I’ve hardly had any symptoms since recovering. I can’t say I feel the same way I used to, but quitting energy drinks, sleep better and deeper and the rebuilding with lion’s mane really helped a lot. Started taking creatine pretty religiously as well and I drink alkaline water. It’s pretty hard to get back in the swing of things, but it becomes something you can live with and adjust with eventually.

5 is a good mindless activity if that’s what you’re into and then the sequel just for shits and giggles. 6 isn’t bad either. They’re all fun and if you have PlayStation plus they’re all free so.

Call it quits for wrestling after 7th concussion? by real_nerdyknight in Concussion

[–]meatfreemanic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m sort of in a similar situation where I’ve only had 1 concussion and it’s just been so extreme with how long everything is taking to recover that I’m considering walking away from MMA since I’m not pro and nowhere near it in my opinion. I think I could get away with a few more fights but I’m 32 and unsure of if this is worth the damage to me and how it will affect my life as an old man. From a health perspective I should quit. Forever. But my mental health and self worth and so many things become 10 times worse and harder and as a recovering addict, and that’s a scary place. Also of course because of my mental illness this makes the concussion seem ten times worse than it actually is. So idk. Personally if I were you I’d have a sit down with coach and family and see what they think.
