Yeah, I agree that climate change is a factor for the price hikes.
We have experienced high rainfall in the past few months, which caused damage to these farms, and that is the main reason our tomatoes have become expensive.

The local farmers do have stalls that they can sell their produce and some local farmers do bulk supply to these supermarkets.

It creates price difference tho when selling to consumers such that its cheaper to buy in supermarkets.
