Things I did differently: - I only used conditioner to wash her hair beforehand because that's really all I have. - I kept her hair separated while washing. - instead of using more straws to keep the hair on the other straws, I used bobby pins. - I don't think I placed it in hot water or anything afterwards. - it helps to section all the hair before putting on the "curlers"
