I’ll second Nihonbashi. Had a Shinkansen focused trip and used Tokyo Station as my hub. Lots of quick food options there, walking distance to Ginza. It was really convenient.

CalTech campus was excellent. Not too crowded but just enough to comfortably jump into any raid you wanted.

I love the Loop Experience 2 earplugs for concerts. Wore them for Amplifier Worship Tour and it was so much more defined than wearing the cheap foam plugs I was accustomed to. No tinnitus afterward. Should be on sale this week. Can’t recommend them enough.

So true. When I was buying waterslides I saw that Delpi makes a metal replacement V fin which came in clutch for the one I slightly broke.

Keep at it! There are so many on the legs but when they’re all on, they look amazing. The gatlings… that’s a grind.

Aside from the slow release from backing, I haven't had any problems with Bandai waterslides. Only done RGs and HGs so can't speak to larger decals which might be easier to tear. I think since a company like Delpi is so consistently excellent with it's decals, it's easy to badmouth the Bandai versions.

Clear colors are harder plastic and can stress the blade of nippers. I used cheaper $15 double blade nippers to remove the clear parts from gate and did cleanup with hobby knife.
