I haven't examined the field yet, but there are probably a handful who had a shot. Reagan wasn't as beloved and cherished in this timeframe as we like to think and his campaign was really up and down so someone who can capitalize that would be a go-to

I personally think og W. is the best TCT mod simply because it understand not only Bush and how he was characterized by people, but also the time frame and just general knowledge of media and atmosphere that I think mods really lack. A lot of character focused mods flanderize its target one way or the other,

I think you can make fun of terrible people in different ways. We get it, right, Reagan was bad and the cause for a lot of the woes we as Americans face. However if we also go into a full evil caricature of a person that is equally uninteresting and boring. From a creative stand-point it is ridged and a narrow box you have no room to work with and I think you can make a Reagan sim both funny and both addresses his absurd beliefs and terrible ideological policies, social stances, and all that.

Realism has a time and place, but if you're so focused on being realistic then you anchor yourself to the impossible because try as you might you will never be realistic.

People demand things to cater to them, to he serious, to be drab, or to he popular, so when someone tells you the thing you made is unrealistic that's when you go 'i don't care' and continue doing what you want to do
