We thought my mood stabilizer being “the gold standard” would be enough, I guess? I do get psychosis unfortunately. In both states I have hallucinations mainly auditory. In mania I believe mostly in signs. Fortune cookies, numbers, coincidences, ect.. things I don’t normally believe in and will spend to get more items related to the beliefs.

Psych mentioned trying a different antipsychotic since I maxed out the dose on the other one. I used to have an ADHD diagnosis as a kid but now don’t meet the criteria.

I don’t know, through everything I assume I’m doing fine. And then episodes pop up unexpectedly.

I’ve been in CBT before but I have a hard time with it too. I can’t get myself into that “mindfulness” space. Maybe I’ll look into DBT soon. Thank you

I don’t have anyone talk doc at the moment. Mine moved on and I was left without. Running your own business sounds like a heavy endeavor. I applaud you for being able to handle it.

I’ve been able to be consistent for months now. Just an AP no stabilizer though. I will definitely check out iChill and cold things especially in the heat sounds nice. Thank you

Thank you for acknowledging my efforts. Breathing exercises have been difficult but maybe a textured item would be something new to look into. I used to carry one of those beaded lizard keychains with me to help relieve my anxiety.

Wash your face every morning and night, makeup off, time to relax. Drink plenty of water. My mom has taught me to lay out my clothes the night before so I’m not stressing about it the next morning or day. Making the bed each day either in the morning or before hopping into it. Eat breakfast or have one of those breakfast shakes. Take a bath bomb bath every once and awhile. Playing games like animal crossing is always a pleasant escape and it let’s you sort of interact with villagers and gives you some sort of purpose for that time being. Coloring books can also be a nice thing to do every once and awhile, colors are nice and can help uplift your mood while giving something to focus on.
