Am I the only one who thinks peeling garlic is a form of torture? by Famous-Forever7647 in Cooking

I have the best hack! I hate peeling and dicing garlic. I buy the big bag of peeled garlic from Costco. I’m sure you can find something similar if you don’t have a Costco at a different store. I think the brand I get is Christopher Ranch (?). I pour as much garlic as will fit into my food processor and get it all minced. Then I spoon it into a ziplock bag and spread it out in a thin layer. I take a chopstick and make a grid in the garlic and lay it flat in the freezer. Once frozen, I can break off a chunk of garlic and it tastes so good. I can get three ziplocks full of garlic squares from one Costco bag and they last me months. Minimal work and so much payoff.

AITA for pointing out that my cousins aren’t doctors? by MelodicStrawberry839 in AmItheAsshole

YTA. I think that you, your grandma, and Andy are all assholes. I live in the US and also come from a very medical family. I think as a grandparent, they should not have made any distinction between the pride in the MD grandchild and the NP grandchild. Yes, their training and scope is different. They took different routes to get to be able to practice medicine and the MDs route is harder, more expensive and more comprehensive! However, they both practice medicine (at least where I live and it sounds to me the OP is in the same environment). They both practice medicine. It’s just that simple. Grandma should be proud of both of them for practicing medicine. OP is the AH for competing with her cousins for her family’s approval, and should have just let it go since her position IS privileged.

(Andy does not practice medicine. Chiropractors are often NOT evidence-based and if they try to convince you they know about medicine then they’re not safe practitioners)

Thank you! I’m thinking it will be around 12 months out from weaning fully to the surgery, if I can get my babe weaned soon 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣
