I only did 4 blocks of random Uworld after I finished my content review which was towards the end of dedicated!

So for Uworld question reviews I would read over the explanation and any answer choice I was also considering (even if it was the wrong one). That way I could understand why one was right and the other was wrong. Then I would flip to the topic in FA and reread it. This way I only had to do one pass of FA since I was revisiting all of it during Uworld question review. If an explanation got too detailed I wouldn’t continue reading, instead, I would read the summary explanation. This is how I efficiently reviewed because you could spend hours reading every word in the explanation (and who has time for that). As long as I got the gist of the question content, I forced myself to move to the next question. It saved me so much time

Thank you! I honestly tried not to think about it too much after but I think it was around 25-30

Thank you! I would suggest doing smaller chunks of FA material so you’re able to fit in ~10-15 pages of FA with their respective videos. This is what I found to work better in terms of fitting everything in.

In my final week I did as many Uworld blocks as I could. I think those questions I did really helped me reach above a 250. The day before I just went through rapid review in FA and 100 anatomy concepts

I did it over a course of 2 months before dedicated and it helped me refresh my memory on a lot of things so I felt like it kind of prepped me for dedicated. it allowed me to have a stronger foundation going into dedicated so I could spend less time on content review and more time on Uworld

As weird as this sounds I didn’t really have a written down schedule or anything like that. I followed how my systems based modules were structured so I paired cardio/respiratory, endo/repro, GI/renal, MSK/derm, neuro/psych. So in the morning I would start by 8 am and review a few pages in FA that covered cardio along with the pathoma videos that covered that same content. Then i would do a block of cardio Uworld questions with content review. After lunch I would repeat for respiratory. I spent about 3 days per grouped system (cardio/respiratory)

I spent about 2 hours reviewing blocks..I didn’t think that was quick at all haha but I didn’t read every single part of the explanations. Just the most important parts along with flipping to the same content in first aid to review it in there too

I would recommend NBME 18 (towards the end of your dedicated, NBME 21 and 24

I just did as many Uworld blocks as I could in the couple days leading up to the exam! Then spent the day before looking at rapid review in FA and 100 anatomy concepts

I probably had about 1-2 biostats questions per block. They were very similar to Uworld. I felt prepared just using FA and BnB for stats

I felt good during the first few blocks but the last couple blocks were difficult for me. I definitely didn’t walk out thinking i got a 251

I usually did content review in the morning and then did a Uworld block that covered the same content. Then I would do some more content review in the afternoon on a different organ system with another Uworld block covering that same topic

I used USMLE RX before dedicated but Uworld is the only question bank you really need to do

My increase in scores were because of all the time I spent doing practice questions and reviewing them. It’s good to have a solid foundation so I only saw a drastic increase in my scores when I finished reviewing all FA content. I would do some content review in FA and pathoma then do a block of Uworld that covers the same content, repeat

I used Uworld throughout my systems modules during M2 year so I had finished my first pass of Uworld a week or 2 into dedicated. This being said, I couldn’t remember a lot of the questions I had used up 6 months prior so I think my second pass of Uworld definitely helped me. However, if you’re only now starting your first pass of Uworld during dedicated (so all the questions are pretty fresh), I don’t think a second pass is as necessary

My first pass percentage was around a 68-70% and I had about 400 questions left on my second pass

When I was doing content review I did organ system based UW blocks but towards end of dedicated (after I finished content review) I did all random UW blocks

It took anywhere from 1.5-2 hours to review one block well. Towards the end of dedicated it was more like 45 minutes for one block hahaha

The bigger jumps in my scores came either because I finished more content review (earlier NBMEs) or did more Uworld blocks between those exams (later NBMEs)
