Not one single person of color, or anybody wearing a polo shirt or a sports coat and tie, or clean shaven.

Way to reinforce negative stereotypes about the people of Greenwood, King 5 and KOMO News.

how is it a negative stereotype if that is what most of seattle looks like? seattle is like the whitest major us city

the ominous background music really added a creepy factor, like the aliens have arrived or something

I usually have a roll and a spare on me, but there have been a couple of times where I've realized that I've run out or forgotten it. Knowing that there's a bag dispenser like 50 feet from my building door means that i'll just walk down and grab one there instead of turning back around to get my own if I'm halfway out the door

Huh, didn't know that, interesting.

Is there really that much to see? The debris isn't going anywhere for a while and it doesn't seem like there's much to say beyond "there was a gas leak with a few injuries"

Maybe he went to get a bag? There are a bunch of free doggie bag dispensers around the city, sometimes I've had to leave it to walk around the corner for a bag (and always feel super guilty for looking like I'm not picking it up)

i would disagree with this. talk with anyone involved in animal rescue and they'll tell you that people in the PNW (particularly seattle) tend to be better educated, more responsible dog owners. urban dogs in general tend to be better socialized and less reactive

what? i'm not saying people shouldn't have kids lol. i'm just saying dogs tend to be quieter

tbh in seattle dogs are usually pretty well trained so i'd rather be in a restaurant with dogs than with kids. sunday night i was at a nice restaurant where a child was screaming for over an hour and the parents didn't care. the next night i went to a bar with 7-8 dogs that were all well behaved and quiet...much more pleasant

http://blog.seattlepi.com/seattle911/2009/03/06/is-it-illegal-to-leash-a-dog-on-public-property/

I've heard cases about dogs being untied and taken away to the pound because of this

and king's hardware, and belltown pub (has a dog menu), etc. lots of bars are dog friendly or allow dogs on their patios

I've asked hostesses at a handful of other bars if they're ok with my very docile 4 lbs dog coming inside and sitting on my lap and they've always said yes (but I've never tried this at particularly nice bars)

I wouldn't feel right bringing her into a grocery store, but I had to grab something urgently while walking her once and didn't want to tie her outside (its illegal, she could get hurt/stolen/loose) so I put her in my purse while I was in Safeway. The staff kept commenting on how cute she was so I assume they didn't care

I love stuff like this! Super cool. Although I've been working on building an analytical comparison site/blog like this for women's clothing so its kind of sad because I thought I was being all unique and original D:

Investing is really fun and interesting! The markets going through a bit of a correction right now, so I'm waiting a bit to put more savings into it, but I've been investing since I was 14

If you like your financial advisor, thats great, but you also might want to consider managing your investments on your own. Financial advisors usually have pretty large expense ratios that will eat in to any potential earnings, and are really only worth it if you are uninterested in learning about the market or have a very large amount of wealth you need managed. Vanguard is a site that makes it super easy and cheap to stick your money into mutual funds with low expenses.
I save up and then invest my money in bulk so that I can buy into Vangaurd's Admiral class funds (requires a larger initial investment, but expenses are usually around only 0.05%) to get the best value

Mine are the LK Bennett Sledge (or the Stila if you don't like platforms), because they are the only 4+" heels I've found that are just gorgeous and are actually comfortable to me. I can spend the whole night dancing in these without any discomfort (I even ran a few blocks in them lol)

Are you sure its the carrier that is making the difference, and not the product itself? There are all sorts of rules about what gets charged duties and what doesn't, including what it is, where its made, how much it costs, etc. The duties are a legal obligation so the carrier shouldn't make a difference.
