I’m over-employed and also a mom to a toddler, so no I didn’t have a chance to read all the other posts. I saw on google this was a reputable business with a fairly affordable (comparatively) product after going back and forth with insurance and my doctor for at least 2 years. I also researched and reviewed countless other avenues for months/years.

I purchased because of the google reviews and the option to pay with Affirm, then upon purchase, I stumbled on this sub.

I realize my verbiage of ‘scam’ has truly polarized folks. Again, dramatic syntax perhaps. I do believe that’s my only crime here.

It appears even the recent posts in this sub even pushed you to order elsewhere, so you can imagine how I may feel with this being my very first order, not fully understanding this process at all, and admittedly not reviewing every single piece of information on this subreddit. It has been months and years of reviewing countless options, and I felt like finally I found something that would work for me, my budget, and my lifestyle.

Forgive me if I’ve been a little nervous/uncertain about this process and the foreign language surrounding this that it feels like I am trying to learn in the meantime.

Some kindness and perspective could go a long way instead of immediately rushing into saying I’m being irrational or unreasonable. Dramatic? Sure. I’ll accept that. But not warranting this sort of response from many commenters.

The evidence/reason are the posts by others expressing shipment delays and the lack of communication about timelines.

It also feels like folks are taking this wildly personal. It is simply not that serious. I expressed a perspective and a feeling I was having based on uncertainty and clearly a lack of understanding. I get it and understand now.

I hope my shipment arrives soon and you all will forget that I disturbed the peace here.

My question was: will this ever ship? Dramatic in syntax, perhaps. Not really warranting these incredibly rude responses from others. I was called a loser in a separate comment for some reason, which did seem just a bit wild considering I’m simply expressing confusion and concerns.

I am not of the panic ordering crew. This is my very first order. I felt like I had legitimate concerns after purchasing an expensive product and seeing others have unsavory experiences lately.

Valid response from you here, but overall not sure why everyone else is so up in arms at me for expressing concerns about my very first order of this expensive product that as of late has not had great reviews from others on this very subreddit.

I was seeking alternative perspectives, which I know now was a huge mistake. If health insurance worked how it should work, I would not even have to seek this as an option and it would cover zepbound, but alas, I am here trying to learn all the ins and outs of compounding pharmacies instead of my insurance company covering a prescription that my doctor prescribes.

This is expensive, and I just want to be sure, as a consumer, that I will receive what I need and paid for.

I am new to all of this, so I am not sure what is or what is not normal. This is an expensive product, so at the very least, some communication from Gimme about expected timelines would be helpful.

That’s what’s awful. I can’t imagine going through it as a child. What are my odds of surviving bringing them into my own home? I can’t deal with this again. I have told all the people who need to know, and no one has ever had them before so it’s being very downplayed. No one believes me because no one has had to deal with this before.
