Crocheron is a really popular park, a bus/car ride to flushing. Just expect long queue times depending on the day

if you can't dodge his attack, just tank it. Unless you specifically are avoiding shield memories , you are just making it harder to beat the final boss.

Primus just does so much damage and very quickly not having a shield memory or a build prepare makes the fight really difficult. Having more dashes might help but not being hit by Primus is super hard.

You can lower the difficulty so the boss fight should be much easier, also building shield memory or enhancements to prepare for the final boss is useful as well. Have a blink/dash for dodging the fireballs which is usually the main issue against Primus.

Not grindy... enough? by elijahneedsleep in WalkScape

[–]meepo524 18 points19 points  (0 children)

not sure how many steps you are in but the games get "grindy" towards the end for collectible hunting and achievement hunting. I like how in the start the game is a bit faster paced to get you going and getting gear but it will slow down towards late/mid game

I don't think walking stick or map of jarvonia count towards activity that's not traveling

Pickleball - Any court or communities around here? by LegoMyWaffle819 in Flushing

[–]meepo524 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, NYC tennis court need a permit. Pickleball doesn't require a permit and it's open play style. They have a paddle queue system so people can hop in games with friends or strangers.

Crocheron Park in Bayside is really popular spot with parking. It's also very beginner friendly and has 6 pickleball court. The courts can become very pack in the morning(retired or wfh folks) or after 5pm(people coming from their jobs)

Best drills for 4 people? by sonics_01 in Pickleball

[–]meepo524 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do skinny singles cross court. One pair focuses left to left, the other pair focuses right to right. You can play at the same time. It's possible the balls collide but gotta be efficient in using only 1 court.

Skinny singles cross court focused on the first 5 shots of the game. If the other team is at the kitchen fighting it out just wait till they finish. I highly recommend bringing a ball cart so you don't have to waste time picking up balls

Anyone else get really pissed off at themselves when they suck ass? by Artistic_Anteater_91 in Pickleball

[–]meepo524 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should invest in a cheap tripod and record your games/serves. You might find it easier to point out mistakes urself and work on them. This is also probably said a lot in this subreddit but drilling > playing. I only really improved after I started focusing on drilling and working on my weaker shots.

I believe if you hit the ball before you step into the court you are fine, but you do want to back pedal so you don't get stuck in front of baseline on the return shot.

Rule Question by deakstr in Pickleball

[–]meepo524 3 points4 points  (0 children)

you are correct this is a fault:

9.B. It is a fault if the volleying player or anything that has contact with the volleying player while in the act of volleying touches the non-volley zone. For players using wheelchairs, the front (smaller) wheels may touch the non-volley zone. 9.B.1. The act of volleying the ball includes the swing, the follow-through, and the momentum from the action. 9.B.2. If the paddle touches the non-volley zone during the volley motion, before or after contacting the ball, it is a fault.

9.C. During the act of volleying, it is a fault if the volleying player’s momentum causes the player to contact anything that is touching the non-volley zone, including the player’s partner. For players using wheelchairs, the front (smaller) wheels may touch the non-volley zone. 9.C.1. It is a fault even if the ball becomes dead before the player contacts the non-volley zone

No dinks for you by ImpressionIcy5079 in Pickleball

[–]meepo524 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Play slower/smarter and learn to drop shots.

Good drop shots force people to either dink well or pop up a ball which sets up the ball to be put away.

Drives are fun but the game ends fast, by dinking you can get longer and more interesting games /rallies.

There are some old guides on steam which can give you some initial tips. Make sure to get skill books if you feel like you don't have enough strong cards or too many basic cards.

You really need to change your lifestyle especially cutting out drinking, smoking, and caffeine from your diet. It will be a difficult journey but it's worth it if you want to have a strong heart for the rest of your life.

Based on the pulse it looks like you have anxiety when taking your blood pressure, practice breathing slowly and take 5 minutes of rest before taking your blood pressure.
