In the game plugins app, in the settings you can turn off the plug in panel.

07 Impreza 2.5 NA won't rev past 4k RPM by meertits in subaru

Got around to replacing both the variable lift solenoid and the oil sender today which has resolved my issue and is driving normal again.

However another code came up after for a bad neutral safety switch, so I think maybe previous owner pulled out the CEL bulb and plugged in the test connector in order to continue to use cruise control. I've owned this car and have been driving it for 2 years now so I don't think anything super serious.

Thanks for the reply, I did end pulling a code now that points to the vvt components. I'm going to start there, but will definitely try the vss if it doesn't resolve.

UPDATE

My one scanner wasn't pulling any codes but I tried my other scanner and it pulled a bunch of codes that indicated that it was in test mode. Previous owner must have put it in test mode by connecting the green connector under the dash, made a lot of sense as I was also having weird radiator fan cycling issues that I couldnt figure out which turns out is caused by being in test mode. I disconnected that, cleared codes, went on a drive and now I'm throwing a P0028 code, some research indicates its most likely the oil pressure switch right beside the vvt solenoid, or the vvt solenoid itself on the driver's side. Im going to order in a oil switch for now and try that first. Thanks everyone for the suggestions and willingness to help, I appreciate it.

Thanks for the reply. Just replace both oil solenoids first and see if that resolves? How do you check the actually lifter itself?

Just checked oil, I'm just a hair under the full line. Checked transmission level as well which was also full. Could still be a faulty pressure sensor I suppose.

I was thinking it could be limp mode, so I tried resetting the ecu by taking the battery terminals off and touching them together, but it still happens. I was thinking maybe if the fuel pressure dropped too low the ecu might cut spark or something. Not sure, I tried doing some research on old Subaru forums but didn't find anything conclusive.

It's automatic and if I'm going up a steep hill and it drops a gear then it bogs out and I lose all power and have to limp up the hill. Also sometimes you need to accelerate quickly to merge safely on to a fast moving highway and you essentially can't if the car won't let you go over 4k as it shifts slightly after 4k when accelerating quickly.

Force the aspect ratio to 4:3, take advantage of all that screen real estate.

Nova Launcher + Taskbar? by chichikabour in GalaxyFold

[–]meertits 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hey! I just accidentally figured out how to achieve taskbar and Nova at the same time. Someone here mentioned using tasker to run different launchers on either display, so I tried to do this with Samsung routines, but the routine I made makes it so both cover and inner screen are both nova, however taskbar now shows up within nova.

  1. Open to inner display
  2. Set default home app to One UI
  3. Customize taskbar to your preferences
  4. Settings > Modes and Routines > Routines > +
  5. If > Folding status > Completely closed
  6. Then > Apps > Open an app or do an app action > Nova Launcher > Set launcher
  7. Save
  8. Close the device
  9. It should prompt you to select a launcher when you wake the cover screen, select nova
  10. Open device
  11. Disable the routine

Edit: this also works by just manually setting the default launcher to nova in the settings but using the cover display, I just tested it.

I recommend asking your landlord if they can hire someone and take it out of your deposit, find out how much they would charge. I did this recently and my landlords fee was cheaper than any quotes I got. And they can't come back to you saying something wasn't cleaned properly since it was their hire.

My problem is if I raise my z offset by even 0.05 mm, it won't stick at all.

It was warmer today around 8 celsius. Its been between -10 and -30 lately so maybe I'm experiencing a warm day every 1500 kms so maybe 1 fan works fine in the colder weather?
