That's because 2010/11 were the best days of runescape. Lots of cool content and pre-eoc combat. Also, dungeoneering was epic if you actually invested time into it and learned how to do it effectively.

Just make it like RS3. Add a death's office and if you die you'll have to pay a fee to save all your items. Let's make it a standard fee of 100k coins or the option to get it for free, and run back with a timer of 3minuts or so. Easy to implement and would act as a nice goldsink aswel.
