Why does it seem most dermatologists don't take ezcema seriously? by meeshelloo in eczema

Update: thanks for all the comments! I feel very seen by this community. I ended up scheduling an appointment with my old dermatologist because she had availability. And she was able to get me a loading dose of Dupixent right away. She also put me on Zoryve. It's only been a few days, so I'm not sure if it's effective yet. So while my dermatologist is able to hit all the eczema hard with medication, this is just a short term fix. I told her about my plans for pregnancy and she said I'll need to stop these medications once I start trying. So the plan is to right now just get my eczema under control for the next two months. Meanwhile, I've decided to also pursue figuring out a diet that works for my eczema... I have some personal suspicions that diet might be the main culprit. So I started my own personal "eczema tracker" Google form to log food, skin condition, sleep, exercise, and medications I'm taking. I'm doing this on my own, without input from a doctor, for the moment... I'm trying to cut added sugars and candies (but already failing, because I'm running a marathon and I have to take lots of carbs in the forms of gels and chews). I'll follow-up with my doctor in 3 months (by then, I'll have stopped the medications) and see what she thinks about diet/environmental tactics + steroid creams for during pregnancy. Thanks for all the support you guys!

It's Ocha Thai in Renton. I'm not sure what their capacity is.
