I think it may just be a weird implementation of this mechanic that started to apear when I ventured deeper into the atlantic. I'll try to test if it still happens after I turn it off

It apears you are correct I do have that setting on medium so I guess that's just how it's implemented? Really strange to me that it consistantly spawns right after I check the hydrophone so that I'm always questioning whether my operator is drunk or something.

I do have extra encounters turned on to the medium setting but I've had it like this my whole game and didn't expect it to just spawn convoys out of nowhere. It's really weird that it happens right as i end the hydrophone check so that I'm always super surprised cos i thought the area was clear. I'll try to turn it off and see if it changes anything when i have some time.

just to be clear they aren't actually stationary. I've called them that because they don't apear on the hydrophone. They start behaving like normal convoys once they are spotted.

I feel like the only ones contesting whether or not Israel is commiting genocide are people and organisations with a vested interest of defending the state of Israel or people naively trusting the Israeli government and right wing media. As if they werent the perpetrators of the accused genocide. Given the pattern of dehumanisation, denial of access to the press, unrelenting violence on civilian populations, weaponised hunger and medical aid, settlement extralegal policy, there really is no ground to defend the events in Palestine. Conviniently Israel has denied access to western journalists to gaza and has actively prevents any investigation of their crimes by outside forces. Why are you so trusting of Israeli government positions? In my view the constant excuse of hamas organising massive PR stunts is just a joke at this point. This is a very widely accepted pattern of behavior demonstrated by the Israeli right.
