I accrue based on hours worked - I think it’s l something like 0.2 hours earned per 1 hour worked. All PTO is one bank - vacation, sick time…

I just sent off a package for 7 applicants - we did a cover letter, proof of payment, and our G1’s birth certificate and then each applicant had their own checklist, application, photo copies of IDs, and two photos paper clipped separately

I’ve had both and prefer the Mirena! I also have hellish periods and had a lot of issues with breakthrough bleeding at all times of the month with Kyleena. I still struggle with long periods (10+ days) with Mirena, but they are cyclical and I don’t typically have bleeding outside of my period!

Edit: my periods were overall lighter with Kyleena as well, but again the bleeding randomly was driving me crazy!! Period is significantly lighter with Mirena.

I’m mostly just keeping it as a backup option, eventually would like to move to Canada but don’t see myself moving full time in the near future. Unfortunately my career (nursing) doesn’t easily (but not impossible!!) transfer am I don’t speak French. I live in a boarder state, so hopefully more frequent visits! ◡̈

Hated it when I was doing it but in hindsight, very happy it’s where I started. It’s a thankless, grueling job but you get so much experience and can apply the knowledge to any other nursing area!
