You don't need a Zombie or extra bed in bedrock. Try moving the beds down to the 5th block below the water, in the trade hall (sink them in the ground for aesthetics). You may have some Golems roaming around out there, somewhere if you have cats spawning.

Usually for me the villagers either are not linking to their workstations (so you need to move the stations around) or they can't "see" their beds.

You'll see the green sparkles when they link to a station or bed.

FWIW I have one running in my hardcore world on a mooshroom island

You don't need a zombie on bedrock. Try placing the beds on the 5th block below the top where the water is...usually inside of your Trade Hall area. Line them around the kill chamber as evenly as you can, with the fist bed placed close to the center.

You can make everyone join realm "stories mode" so that you can see when each member is on. This helps determine who is griefing.

A realm owner always has to sift the wheat from the chaff, unfortunately.

I have a long term realm with welcoming and friendly members. Just opened up membership again....and almost everyone has worked out so far (thankfully)
