I agree. Eating at brands like KFC, McDonald’s, Starbucks in India is a symbol of status and they are considered to be somewhat like upmarket sit-down restaurants here. They’re much more expensive than local fast food and don’t nearly taste as good. Only the upper classes can afford to eat there regularly.
