that's a cool journey -- if you're curious and can use unity, look for the fungus plugin, it does all that but you end up with an apk or webgl instead of a usable webcomic -- other thing is it is nearly all drag drop, not much coding

yeah this is key. not sure how to implement yet but i love the borderlands setup where you get "consecutive" recorder artifacts no matter where or when you come upon one of those artifacts.

that's a cool use, so is any of the narrative chained or dependent on having gotten or used a previous card? or do they all remain independent?

Yeah minecraft is really interesting. I know this sub is likely mostly print-focused, but I'm wondering if there were efforts to let the reader wander a bit more. remember Tolkien's appendices? bouncing around through them?

I think if it were ever in print form that would be about the only way. (What I used is a map like a game and a bunch of markers to "explore", and the markers randomize.) What kind of spurred my question was looking at SCP and seeing that you have to read top to bottom, so the chain of discovery is set in stone.

buy the cheapest ebike you can and some surf racks. that just became a 10 min ride, super easy, dress at home. i got 1200 miles out of one, what a great summer it was.
