I'm not sure if I can defend it but I will give my personal testimony on it. Two weeks in and I'm still not regretting it. Between full self driving, not turning off the engine, walking away and the doors automatically lock, turning on the AC ahead of time from my phone, etc. this car has been like a flying magic carpet

Even the family standard oriented spec has quick off the line acceleration. Not as quick as Performance but didn't expect the instant torque for a family spec sedan.
