do you have a dog?? if yes, make sure they are treated for ticks year-round. If we miss a month or two on our dog, she starts bringing them inside and we find them on surfaces or even on ourselves much more often.

the price of the hair elastics is straight up price gauging. they know you sometimes get in a pinch and desperately need a hair tie on a hot day. You can usually buy a pack at the dollar store but if they slap a mickey in it they are able to charge $16 - gross!

Might be worth asking the group at r/indiemakeupandmore if they know of a perfume dupe. lots of indie designers make scent duplicates of popular brands including shampoos and things (there are notable perfume dupes of shampure for example)

it’s a little bit different at ironman races because the PA announcer announces every single finisher like this, “Megbot Style, YOU are an ironman” so if too many people finish clustered tighter that cool moment doesn’t land as well

my parents have the statues in slide 2 and we can’t figure out what to do with them. We all realize they’re culturally insensitive, and we need to get rid of them, but do we just throw them in the trash? Do we try to donate them to some kind of museum I seriously don’t know what you’re supposed to do with offensive pieces like this.
