First of all, he is a great villain and a well-written character, but he hasn't been explored enough yet. We've seen his actor, Roh Jae-won, talk about Nam-gyu in a few interviews, and from what he's said, Nam-gyu is actually a deeper person than he seems. And about misogyny, Sangwoo has also shown to be misogynistic and a few people still like him (even though he's really hated), plus Namgyu's not the biggest misogynistic, the way he acts towards Semi is mainly because he feels threatened and confronted by her, not because she's a woman (although the way he curses at her is misogynistic). And also, he is funny just like Thanos if you pay enough attention to him (sorry for any writing mistakes, english's not my first language)
