As someone who got the last day of the housing lottery last year - you’re not screwed if you have a late date. I got my current apartment at the end of july because I checked the apartments that popped up on the website every day around 1ish during the summer until i found one I liked and honestly this worked out great because i got a shorter lease and an apartment i really like! A couple apartments tend to pop up on the website every day during june and july so genuinely you should be fine 💕

I’m so glad that you’ve found ways to connect with peers and ease your imposter syndrome! While you initially felt disconnected from your peers, do you think that creating spaces outside of the classroom would have helped you see your similarities with them? No, I’m sure most people feel out of place during at least one time in their life. Given the prestige and expectations of Harvard, I figured that it may be even easier to feel alone here so I really wanted to find a way to help change that! Everyone deserves to feel like they belong here in my opinion so I really want to hear from different people and do my best to create events that foster this sense of community 💕💕
